You are attacked by stray dingos as you cross the next street, but fight them off and are able to escape without harm.
Later, you are attacked again by a second, unrelated group of well-pedigreed dingos. You are maimed, but fortunately the pack loses interest and saunters away.
After several uneventful weeks, there is a knock at your door. When you open the door, there is no one there.
The next day, a third and much larger group of dingos ambushes you during your morning paper route. You curse the day you left the abandoned house uninvestigated.
